For more than twenty-five years, P&P Press has been committed to helping the environment. Our efforts include such measures as; the use of soy-based inks and, of course, extensive use of 100% recycled newsprint.
In addition to our outstanding record of recycling, 2008 marked a major new environmental initiative with the installation of our new UV/Heat-set press.
This process enables us to print on enamel stocks without the environmental hazards of a conventional heat-set web press.
Our recent Recycling Audit furnished by Midwest Fiber Recycling shows:

21,841 trees saved

3,185 cubic yards of landfill space conserved

6,370,332 kilowatt hours saved

6,506,840 gallons of water saved

54,603 pounds of air pollutants saved

2,275 barrels of oil saved
